With added loam from the John Innes and the fibres present in our peat free range provides an optimum soil structure that encourages root growth and extended plant life. Moregro Ericaceous Compost
Our peat free ericaceous compost is primarily comprised of bio fibre and wood fibre. Our fibres are by-products of sustainably managed forests showing our fight against climate change. The rich formula is high in iron and other nutrients to prevent conditions such as lime-induced chlorosis which results in the plant not flowering well and yellow leaves. The main advantage to our compost is the enrichment of seaweed which provides over 60 trace elements such as nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus and gypsum to the soil. This helps with a number of activities such as stimulating seed germination, enhanced plant growth and health, enhanced disease resistance and remediation of pollutants that may be in the soil.
