Our fibres are by-products of sustainably managed forests showing our impact on climate change. The compost is also mixed with seaweed and volcanic dust adding essential nutrients such as sulphur to regulate the pH of the soil and gypsum. By adding seaweed it increases the level of nitrogen and potash in the soil which stimulates seed germination and enhanced nutrient and water uptake. Moregro Ericaceous Compost
Our peat free ericaceous compost is primarily comprised of bio fibre and wood fibre. Our fibres are by-products of sustainably managed forests showing our fight against climate change. The rich formula is high in iron and other nutrients to prevent conditions such as lime-induced chlorosis which results in the plant not flowering well and yellow leaves. The main advantage to our compost is the enrichment of seaweed which provides over 60 trace elements such as nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus and gypsum to the soil. This helps with a number of activities such as stimulating seed germination, enhanced plant growth and health, enhanced disease resistance and remediation of pollutants that may be in the soil.
